What to Pack for a Baby Beach Day: The Complete Checklist

A beach day with a baby is one of summer's greatest joys — and one of its greatest logistical challenges. Between the nappy bag, the sun cream, and the snacks, it's easy to forget something important. We've put together the ultimate packing checklist so you can focus on the fun and leave the stress at home.

👒 Sun Protection Essentials

Babies under 6 months should be kept out of direct sunlight entirely, and older babies need careful protection. Here's what to pack:

Wide-brimmed sun hat — Our Straw Sun Hat is a beach bag must-have. The natural straw weave allows airflow while the generous brim shields little faces and necks from UV rays.
SPF 50+ baby sunscreen — Choose a mineral-based formula designed for sensitive skin.
UV-protective swimwear or a rash vest — Covers more skin than a standard swimsuit.

👗 What to Dress Baby In

A pram or carrier with good sun coverage
